JSSC TGT Exam Pattern 2020

The JSSC TGT exam pattern 2020 for the written examination is as follows:

Paper 1

  • Consists of two sections
  • 200 questions
  • Each question carries 1 mark
  • Total 200 marks
  • Duration is 3 hours. 
  • There is no provision of negative marking.

Paper 2

  • Elective paper
  • 150 questions
  • Each question carries 2 marks
  • Total 300 marks
  • Duration is 3 hours
  • There is no provision of negative marking

The JSSC TGT written exam consists of multiple-choice, objective type questions. Candidates who qualify in the written exam are then selected further for the document verification process. JSSC PGT Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) will update the JSSC PGT Exam schedule on its website along with the JSSC PGT exam pattern and the JSSC PGT History syllabus, JSSC PGT Syllabus economics and syllabus for all other subjects. This article details the JSSC PGT Syllabus for various subjects such as the JSSC PGT Commerce syllabus, English, Hindi, Geography etc for the reference of the aspirants of the JSSC PGT exam.

  • A written exam is taken to select Post Graduate Teachers at the post of teachers in Jharkhand’s various government schools.
  • The interested and qualified candidates can apply for the JSSC PGT exam online. The application process date is yet to release.
  • Once it does, the Commission will open the portal to accept the application form of the candidates.
  • One can find the official link for the syllabus provided by the Commission for the previous year below. The syllabus is expected not to deter from the previous year`s JSSC PGT syllabus.

JSSC PGT (Post-Graduate Teacher) Syllabus 2020

There are three stages in the selection process of the JSSC PGT exam, two of which are written exams and the last stage is the document verification process. Know how to Check JSSC PGT Result.

  • Preliminary exam -  This exam covers general subjects such as general knowledge, mental ability, etc.
  • The Mains Exam - There are two sections in the mains exam. Part - I include General Knowledge and the understanding of Hindi, whereas part-II includes specific subject related questions that the candidate has applied for.
  • Document Verification - After the candidates successfully qualify the preliminary and main examination, they are allocated the post based on their ranking on the merit list after the round of document verification.
